February Notes from the Perfumery

Now a little more than halfway through February, it's important to cherish every increasing bit of light that leaks through the imposing curtain of darkness and despair—and that's as metaphorical a statement as it is literal. Every drop of joy is a precious nectar to be savoured, building up our strength to continue. 

 

Thank you for joining us here; whether this is our first introduction or a memo amidst many over the years, you've consciously chosen to carve out time to connect with us in way beyond the material. Since we're welcoming some new faces (while others reveal their own…), we feel its important to re-state our mission, passion, and speak on our values and how those carry over into our work before we proceed with some announcements, as well as share a page torn from our own grimoire of lust & love (!)

LVNEA (pronounced loo-nay-uh) is an independent natural perfumery and apothecary located in Montréal, Canada.Celebrating over 10 years of artistry, our products are handmade in-house by a small group of dedicated beings working in tandem with the natural rhythms of the earth. 

Enthusiastic stewards of olfactory tradition, we aim to reconnect our patrons to long-established practices often left forgotten and encourage rituals of awareness and embodiment through beauty, divinity, and scent. Smells can anchor you to the present, walk you through the past, and accompany you as you create your future—so let us forge ahead, hand in hand, and unveil what lost knowledge and fragrant magic the rich folklore of aromatics holds, together.
