Pure Elettaria cardamomum essential oil.

A member of the ginger family, Cardamom is one of the oldest essential oils in perfumery. It was treasured in ancient Greece and Rome as perfume considered to bring about clarity of mind and energy.

Native to Asia, it is a perennial weed-like herb that can grow up to 12 feet and produces green pods from which seeds are harvested. As a spice, it has been used to freshen the breath and to flavour dishes and beverages. 

Cardamom essential oil has a tenacious spicy-sweet, rich, warm, aromatic aroma with a balsamic-woody and sweet drydown that awakens the senses and enlivens the heart. In perfume, it adds a warm, spicy, and invigorating quality that blends beautifully to floral bases.
