Impressions: a sharp, rural opening–like hay and liquor— invigorates and warms the spirit ; the smell of mud kicked up from heels sinking into soil that gives way like an over-ripe gourd; sharp spokes and sunny strokes express themselves through aromatic vibrancy  poking through an otherwise dry, husky, sun-in-the-cobwebs haze ; a sweet musky undertow ; warm and worn floorboards and beaten earth ; the lingering scent from a floral spectre

Oft made of husks, twigs, and long-stemmed grasses plucked from pastoral thickets, this common household item is far from mundane; witch and broomstick-riding camp aside, besoms hold a dark history and an ongoing legacy of belief and superstition in their bundled stems and remain a powerful spiritual tool to this day.
