Warning brass can become extremely hot while incense is burning -place on a heat-resistant surface and avoid touching while in use For charcoals, remove the grate and coat the bottom of the burner with a thick layer of plain table salt before placing hot charcoal directly on top (the salt will absorb the heat of the charcoal).
